Upcoming UARC events: UARC Winter Field Day: Noon through 8 pm on Saturday 24 January 2026 UARC is planning to participate in Winter Field Day, from noon to 8 pm Saturday 24 January 2026 at the Utah Cultural Celebration Center, 1355 W 3100 S, WVC. To keep things simple, we plan to only run 2 stations, so our exchange will be W7SP 2M UT.
Spring Potluck Dinner: 6:30 pm on Thursday 12 March 2026
The location of the potluck dinner is the Salt Lake County Facilities Management cafeteria, 2001 S State St, room S1-100, just inside the doors to the South Building. It's across the street from O.C. Tanner, if that helps. We've posted a signup sheet here. |
Welcome to the Utah Amateur Radio Club's web site. Our club is the oldest amateur radio club in the state of Utah. It holds the call W7SP, a memorial call for Leonard "Zim" Zimmerman, early UARC member and radio pioneer. It also publishes a monthly newsletter called Microvolt, electronic versions of which can be found HERE.

This site includes information about the club's history and current activities, as well as answers to the most frequently asked questions about Amateur Radio in Utah and Amateur Radio in general. We hope you find it useful. Suggestions are always appreciated.
